While designing any prototype or system, sensing tilt is one parameter which needs equal attention to design. There are multi-axes tilt sensor are available and single axes tilt sensor is nothing but act as switch.
Objective: Constructing an add-on which detects Tilt in system and indicates with glowing indicator LED and makes alarm sound using Alarm Module.
Methodology is simple; single axes tilt sensor is connected to the Controller Module and memory resident program continuously monitors it. If tilt is observed, Controller Module generates alert signal and fed to Alarm Module for alert sound and to Indicator Module for glowing indicator LED.
Applications:
¾ Used in airplanes, mobiles, toys, with gadgets, security or automation systems etc.
