Bluetooth is the buzz word, while designing any automation system for study purpose. Automation of Home/Work place is common using short range communication technology, called Bluetooth. The Bluetooth enabled Android Mobile Phone or Computer can be used as remote control device by sitting at central, safe and comfortable place.
Objective: The construction of system which allows user to control device sitting at safe and comfortable place. Note that getting current status of the controlling device can also be implemented with slight code and hardware change at both ends.
The system has two parts: Controlling End and Automation End. At Controlling End user sends control command via its Communication Module to Automation End. At the Automation End such commands are received on Communication Module, decoded with memory resident program and send to Load Controller Module for execution purpose.
This full-scale device control system uses USB or UART as Host Control Interface (HCI).
The intended device needs Android App in user Android mobile hand set prior using this system as mobile controlled system. The range of the system is defined by used Bluetooth's communication range.
Since only two modules are controlled, less care needed while designing and controlling system.
Applications & Features:
The system is used as wireless remote control System at home/work-place.
Since single point control is possible, useful for non-technical people.
Since system is embedded type and wireless, portability is done very easily. Changing control device is very easy.
