The automation is observed everywhere including automobile sector. Usually gear indication and speed of vehicle is indicated on scaled meters. The Speed N Gear Indication System shows both parameters digitally on its display module.
Objective: The objective is to create a system which shows gear indication and speed of vehicle digitally on display module.
The working of system goes like this: the system uses IR sensor pairs to calculate speed of the vehicle and observed reading is fed to memory resident program of Controller Module. The in-gear condition of the vehicle is also fed to controller module for further processing.
The controller module with the help of its memory resident program does all calculations and shows vehicle’s in-gear and speed on its display module.
