Review: Arduino Based Digital Thermometer

The digital Thermometer are needed everywhere, such as to monitor room temperature in houses, industries, warehouses, storage houses, medical and scientific fields.

ArduinoDigitalThermometer_2016

Objective: Constructing a system which shows [not controlling anything] current room temperature in degree Celsius. Note that the system can be used as add-on module with any bigger system where feedback technique is used to maintain any parameter/task.

The system contains Arduino based Controller Module, Temperature Sensor Module, Display Module and Power Supply Unit. The memory resident program of Controller Module reads sensor and converts it into proper format and displays it on Display Module. The Power Supply Unit may be an Adaptor or battery and supplies necessary power to the system for proper working. Note that while dealing with temperature sensor not forgets to calibrate it with system once program is burned into the Controller Module.

Applications:

¾    to show room temperature in houses, in industries, warehouses, storage houses, medical and scientific fields

¾    With slight code change or used as add-on module with big system it can be used to maintain room temperature [using feedback method] of: laboratories, incubators, storage houses etc.
