The Displays play very important role when conveying any message to many number of people, for example in school, colleges, bus stations etc. There are many type of displays are available in market, but 2-dimensional LED Matrix displays are very cheap and very easy to implement on field.
Objective: Constructing a system which shows scrolling message on 8x8 LED Matrix modules. It is possible to cascade one Matrix to another and form long display board very easily as each LED matrix comes with own driver module fitted below it.
They system is built with Arduino based Controller Module, Driver Module and 8x8 LED Matrix Module. The power supply unit supplies proper rating power to system for smooth working. The memory burned program of Controller Module sends pre-programmed text message to LED Matrix module for scrolling message display purpose.
Applications:
¾ Used as display board in school, colleges, bus stations etc.
