The automation is observed everywhere and power sector is not prone exception to it. The Energy Monitor N Control System is one such system with four to be precise features.
Objective: The objective is to create a monitoring system which helps both user and power authority to maintain uninterrupted power to source/home.
The working of system goes like this: the system works in four modes. In first mode, user has to purchase or recharge his energy meter for certain units of energy. After purchase he has to send recharged SMS to his energy meter for supplying uninterrupted power supply. In second mode, power authority can get the total units consumed information through same SMS service remotely. If overload is detected system automatically cuts-off power to safe guard the house from any kind of fire hazard. In fourth mode, if energy meter is tampered, automatically alert SMS is sent to power authority for proper action.
The controller module with the help of its memory resident program does all these monitoring and controlling actions. Even though buzzer is shown in block diagram as into controller it is basically used out for alarm sound output.
